Our Story
Hello I’m,
Jennah (a.k.a Judge Foodie)!
Food Lover. Instagrammer. Content Creator.
First of all, I am not a full-time content creator, I am studying law with the end result of becoming a solicitor.
So, you may be asking what sparked Judge Foodie?
At the beginning of 2020, I realised that all the pictures I would normally take of food when I went out to restaurants should be collated and placed in one space. This is when Judge Foodie was created.
I have always had a passion for food photography. Mainly because I love food and photography so combining the two was perfect for me! But it’s more than that. I must admit, food photography has always been an art to me! I know that photography itself can change your perspective on so many things, but with food, it can work so well, to the point an image will make your tummy roar with hunger. But it can also go horribly wrong, e.g., when the set-up of the dish does not show how delicious the food actually is. An image of a dish can instantly make the viewer want to eat it or throw it in the bin – a picture can be so powerful!
When restaurants and cafes closed in March 2020, I was no longer able to document my food journey on my food blog. However, I adapted and decided to make food at home, creating my own recipes and improving my photography.
However, now that restaurants and up and running again (you will no longer see me in the kitchen as much as you did in 2020-21). Instead, I will be reviewing restaurants and cafes for you.
I have worked with a variety of brands from well-loved names such as GDK and Holy Moly Dips, to smaller independent or bespoke businesses. The work ranges from bespoke content creation for a brand to use as collateral, from food styling and photography to recipe creation; to partnership collaborations with my dedicated Instagram food blog @judgefoodie_, which could involve anything from product promotions to recipe creation alongside photo or video content creations, restaurant, product, or service reviews and much more.
I pride myself in my honest reviews which are promoted via my social media and online platforms. If you would like to invite me to your restaurant, I will always provide you with true and honest feedback on my experience, please get in touch.
