There is a selection of 5 soufflé pancakes to choose from along with a variety of drinks (tea and bubble teas). The pancakes were incredible - airy, fluffy and light. They look and taste like clouds, melting in your month with the first bite. The pancakes were reasonably priced too. The bubble tea was very refreshing and tasty. KoKo House ONLY accept CASH! Overall, the pancakes were delicious!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The decor within the cafe is traditional with gold and green touches. The pancakes were presented beautifully.

📍 Ambience / Location: KoKo House was very cosy and welcoming. It is located at 175 Great George St, Hillhead, Glasgow G12 8AQ.

✨ Service: The service was excellent. The staff were super polit, friendly and welcoming.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8.5/10

Overall, these soufflé pancakes are a MUST when in Glasgow! I could not recommend these pancakes enough. I cannot wait to return! ✨

Panang offers a diverse range of dishes that are served in small plate tapas style, with a recommendation of 3-4 plates per person. It is important to note that portion sizes vary, so you should be mindful when ordering. The chicken in the curry and skewers was tender and melted in my mouth. However, the chicken wings were tough and had more bones than actual chicken, which was disappointing. The veggie spring rolls were exceptional, with a perfect blend of flavours, lightness and were not too oily. The coconut rice had a subtle flavour that was not overpowering and was surprisingly enjoyable. The restaurant also has an extensive drinks menu and while the drinks we ordered were refreshing, the mocktail had too much ice and not enough drink. Overall, the dishes were good, despite a few minor shortcomings.

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: Panang's interior is vibrant, quirky and stylish - easily one of the most vivid and colorful Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The dishes are presented nicely, adding to the overall appeal of the dining experience.

📍 Ambience / Location: The restaurant was buzzing towards the end of our visit! It is located at 71-73 St Vincent St, Glasgow G2 5TF.

✨ Service: The service was great! The staff were quick, efficient at taking our order and recommending dishes on the menu. The dishes came hot, quickly and all together.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8/10

Overall, the food, decor and service were all so good! I would recommend Panang! 😊

@levelxplay is a bowling alley with a variety of gaming experiences and a mini golf course.

Pictured is:
🍹Pineapple and Passion Fruit Cooler Mocktail (£4.50).
🍹Tango Ice Blast (£3.50).

The bowling was fun, however, it would have been better to have more than 10 bowls for one game. The arcade was equally entertaining, especially the basketball, clown, dance and air hockey machines. The unique arcade system involves purchasing tokens that are loaded onto a wristband with an embedded chip. You can then scan your wristband on any game you want to play. However, we faced multiple technological glitches and there was no convenient way to verify the number of tokens available on our wristbands. Additionally, there are other attractions such as a VR experience and a mini-golf course. The mocktail was very refreshing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the bowling!

💰Price: £17-21 for one game of bowling depending on which day you visit. The prices are good.
⏰Time: Approximately 30 minutes for a game of bowling.
🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The decor is pretty cool throughout the venue. The Gutterball bowling has neon graffiti art and bespoke bowling balls. The venue is very clean and kept tidy. The drinks were nicely presented.
📍 Location: It is located at 55 St Enoch Sq, Glasgow G1 4BW.

The menu changes daily and is accommodating to a variety of dietary requirements - they offer soups and a variety of bagels/sandwiches and focaccia. The bagel was very tasty with its crispy exterior and chewy interior. The focaccia is light and soft. The soups were bursting with flavor and satisfyingly filling with a lovely texture. Overall, the bagel, focaccia and soups were all delicious!

💥⛳️BOOM BATTLE BAR’S NEW BRUNCH MENU⛳️💥

[AD - PR INVITE] @boombattlebar has created a New Brunch Menu! I was kindly invited along to try out their new Brunch. They cater for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Pictured is:
✨Street Food -
🥦Battered Cauli Bites (Vegetarian).
🍄Breaded Shrooms (Vegetarian).
🍟Halloumi Fries (Vegetarian).
✨Fully Loaded -
🍟This Might Sound Cheesy Fries (Vegetarian).
🥔Locked & Loaded Nachos (Vegetarian).
🍹Berry Bizz Mocktail.
🍹Orange Spritz Mocktail.

The Brunch package comprises of five drinks each and an assortment of street food dishes, along with a 9-hole round of their Crazier Golf (check out the menu by swiping the photos above). The street food was nice, particularly the Battered Cauliflower Bites and Halloumi Fries. The fully loaded fries were equally tasty, with a cheesy and well-seasoned flavour. However, the Nachos did not live up to my expectations. The Crazier Golf was a blast to play, featuring unique interactive elements on every hole that elevate the experience beyond a regular game of mini-golf. The course includes various tools like slingshots and baseball bats that add an extra layer of excitement. Overall, the package is pretty good value money.

💰Price: £40 per person.

⏰Time: 90 minutes of Brunch and a game of Mini Golf.

🗓️When: Every Saturday there are two slots one at 12pm and 2pm.

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The decor is very cool - neon, colourful and dim lit. The dishes were nicely presented too.

📍 Ambience / Location: Boom Battle Bar was very busy on Saturday. The live DJ brings the vibes. It is located at Units 3 & 4, Omni Centre, Edinburgh EH1 3AU.

✨ Service: The service is good. The staff are organised and stick to timings.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 7/10

Overall, if you’re looking for a fun activity to do on the weekend… this is a nice way to spend your Saturday Afternoon. Thank you so much for the invite @boombattlebar ! 😊

Shish has an extensive menu featuring a diverse selection of Turkish dishes and non-alcoholic drinks. Our starters were delectable, particularly the smooth and creamy hummus. The mixed grill was exceptional, with all meats expertly cooked, seasoned and succulent, thanks to the skilled Turkish chefs with over a decade of experience, including five years working in top hotels in Dubai. Additionally, the homemade fluffy bread and rice that came with our meal were lovely too! The portions are generous! The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but offers a good selection of mocktails and non-alcoholic wines, beers, spirits and even 24k gold champagne. While I personally preferred the fruity Summer Fruits Mocktail over the stronger-flavored Blue Lagoon Cocktail, both were delightful. Overall, though the dishes come with a higher price point, Shish provides a luxurious dining experience and some of the best Turkish cuisine in Edinburgh.

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: Shish's interior is stunning and exudes luxury, with marble-designed table tops, exquisite gold lighting and expansive windows. The open kitchen adds to the ambiance. Fun fact: Shish has the largest grill in Scotland, adding to the restaurant's unique appeal. The dishes themselves are beautifully presented.

📍 Ambience / Location: Although I visited Shish during lunchtime, I can envision that the restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere in the evenings. It is located at 32 Potterrow, Edinburgh EH8 9BT.

✨ Service: The service at Shish was great! The staff and management were incredibly attentive and friendly. Moreover, the dishes were served promptly.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 9.5/10

Overall, I would highly recommend Shish if you are looking for a beautiful Turkish meal in a luxurious setting. I will be visiting again very soon! Thank you so much for the invite @shishedinburgh ! 😊

La Lanterna’s Á la carte menu is extensive. Both pasta dishes were well cooked and tasted fresh. The sauces accompanied the dishes very well. The portion size is good too, but highly overpriced for what it is. The chips were delicious - crispy, fluffy and seasoned well. The Strawberry Lemonade Mocktail was a let down, it just tasted like a simple strawberry lemonade. I expected there to be unique flavouring. Overall, the dishes were good!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior is bright and beautifully decorated with a few glamorous touches. The restaurant is pretty small, but there is a downstairs area which could cater to larger parties. The dishes were nicely presented.

Ka Pao has a very interesting menu. The idea behind the restaurant is tapas style food - ordering 3 dishes per person. All the dishes we ordered combined together nicely complemented each other. The corn ribs and the charcoal-grilled celeriac were the standout dishes for me. The padron peppers were nice but they were swimming in a juice and overly salty for my taste palette. The portion size is small for the price of each dish. Overall, the dishes were nice and the menu shows lots of creatvity.

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior was simple yet stylish with small touches of greenery throughout the restaurant. The dishes were presented nicely.

Valaria’s menu changes each week to ensure you always get to try a new creation. Each creation is handcrafted, from the eclairs and patisserie’s to the chocolates and viennoiserie. Their Raspberry Tart was my FAVOURITE! The pastry was buttery and a little sweet, the consistency was similar to a shortbread. The filling of the tart was was spot on - sweet with a lovely raspberry taste. The Raspberry Croissant was buttery, light, flaky and delicately sweet. The Croissant was filled with a light creamy raspberry flavouring - it may have converted me to having circular croissants from now on. The Lemon Meringue was DELICIOUS - the lemon taste was rich and tangy. Both drinks were lovely too! However, though each creation were DELICIOUS, I am not sure if any of the above are really worth £6.50 each (sitting in)! Overall, each creation was beautiful, perfectly crafted and tasty - though they are on the pricer side!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior is gorgeous and luxurious - bringing Parisian vibes to Glasgow. The interior flower display were beautiful too! Each dish is precisely crafted with great attention to detail.

📍 Ambience / Location: The ambience is nice. However, the tables are very close together, it felt as if you were invading others personal space. It was extremely busy, we had to queue outside for 20-25 minutes. It is located at 333 Byres Rd, Glasgow G12 8UQ.

✨ Service: The service was very good, considering it had only been opened for a week and was extremely busy when we visited. The staff were attentive and friendly.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8/10

Overall, if you’re for a Bakery, Patisserie and Viennoiserie in Glasgow with Parisian vibes… look no further. Although Valaria may be on the pricier side, it’s a great spot if you want to treat yourself! Bon Appetit! 😊

The menu has a variety of dishes on it - there is something for everyone! The Fried Chicken and Waffles were excellent - my favourite! Everything about this dish was spot on - from the tender chicken to the soft and crispy waffles, I couldn’t recommend this dish enough! The Pancakes were so tasty - soft and airy! The loaded fries were lovely too, the portion size was INSANE! The Avocado and Toast was pretty average, but the poached egg was perfectly cooked. The granola in the granola bowl was spot on but the blueberry compote lacked sweetness. The drinks were all super refreshing and the staff made us mocktails too - they are not on the menu yet, but I have been told that a mocktail menu will be launching very soon! All the dishes came piping hot and were cooked well. The dishes are reasonably prices too. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the dishes!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior is nicely decorated; I liked the pops of colour and the greenery. The dishes were beautifully presented.

📍 Ambience / Location: The ambience was relaxing. However, it was pretty chilly inside. It is located at 4-6 Nicolson St, Edinburgh EH8 9DH.

✨ Service: The service was excellent - quick and efficient. The staff were super friendly, attentive and welcoming. Robyn and Ciara provided us with great recommendations too!

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8/10

Overall, if you’re looking for a Brunch spot in Edinburgh or Glasgow, I would highly recommend the Brunch Club. I will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for the invite @the.brunch.club_ ! 😊

🥐🧁PASTRY SECTION🧁🥐 @the_pastrysection

🥐🧁PASTRY SECTION🧁🥐

@the_pastrysection was founded in 2017, it is a contemporary bakehouse nestled in Edinburgh’s Stockbridge. They cater for Vegetarians.

Pictured is:
🧁Chai White Choc Pomegranate Cake and ☕️ Hot Chocolate (together they came to £9.70).
🍮Cinnamon Bun and ☕️ Coffee (together they came to £5.75).

All the baked goodies are baked from scratch daily, from cinnamon buns to lemon meringue tarts. The Chai White Choc Pomegranate Cake was very tasty, the sponge was light and soft and the chai flavouring was spot on. The white chocolate on top made the cake very indulgent! Okay… so the SHOW-STOPPER was the cinnamon bun! The cinnamon bun will definitely change your brain chemistry 😍🧠 I had to visit the pastry section multiple times since this visit to get cinnamon bun again! The dough itself was light, sweet and full of flavour. The icing was ooey-gooey, not too sweet but very lush. The Hot Chocolate and Coffee were nice. The only downside to the goodies were they are slightly too sugary for my taste palette but that doesn’t stop me going back! 😉 Also, this is minor but there are no prices placed near each goodie and the goodies are on the pricer side. Overall, both the baked goodies were delicious, full of flavour with great portion sizes!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The Pastry Section is mainly a takeaway, they do have limited indoor seating. This means that it is not always possible to sit in. The interior is simple and modern. They are also dog-friendly, for hygiene reasons I don’t like the idea behind this. All the baked goodies are presented beautifully!

📍 Ambience / Location: The Pastry Section had a constant flow of customers while we were there. It is located at 86 Raeburn Pl, Stockbridge, Edinburgh EH4 1HH.

✨ Service: The service was great. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about each baked goodie.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8.5/10

Overall, if you love baked goodies, I would highly recommend the Pastry Section. They are a little gem in Stockbridge; that is definitely worth a visit! 😊

☕️Hot Chocolate (£3.40).

All the dishes were bursting with flavour. The French Toast was the show stopper - it was UNREAL! 😍 The toast were soft but the edges were crispy and perfectly cooked not soggy. The toppings complimented each other perfectly and the mascarpone was one of the best I have had. The Scottish Smoked Salmon dish was great too - the toast was nicely toasted (not too hard). The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The croissant lacked fillings, it would have been nice if it was packed. Other than the croissant, the dishes were nicely portioned and priced! The Hot Chocolate was really nice - not too chocolatey. Overall, all the dishes were fresh and delicious!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior is soo lovely, giving off French cafe vibes. The dishes are beautiful presented.

📍 Ambience / Location: The ambience within Wee Paree was lovely - super relaxing. It is located at 240 Crow Rd, Glasgow G11 7PZ.

✨ Service: The service was very good. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive.

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8.5/10

Overall, the dishes, decor, ambience and service were all great! I would highly recommend Wee Paree! I will definitely be returning! 😊

💰Price: The cost of the Poké Bowls at Kau Kau Poke varies depending on the bowl size and whether you're dining in or taking out, with prices ranging from £7.50 to £11.40. Additional scoops cost £1.50.

Both the Poké Bowls we ordered were super tasty, refreshing and filling. The toppings and sauces finished the bowls off nicely. I loved the option of building your own bowl, there are so many toppings to choose from. The portions are generous. However, the cost of a large bowl with add-ons could get expensive if dining in. The drinks at the cabinet are also nice too as well as the mochi balls. Overall, the Poké Bowls were very tasty and refreshing!

🌹Decor/Presentation of the Food: The interior is bright, clean and colourful. The dishes were beautifully presented.

📍 Ambience / Location: Kau Kau Poke is primarily a takeaway spot, there are around 12 indoor seats. The location is convenient and easy to find. It is located at 37 South Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1LL.

✨ Service: The service was super fast. The staff were friendly and created an inviting environment. Kau Kau Poke have a loyalty card system too!

👩🏽‍⚖️ Verdict: 8.5/10

Overall, Kau Kau Poke bowls are very tasty, filling and make you feel super healthy! Despite, the bowls being on the pricer side, I would recommend Kau Kau Poke to anyone seeking tasty and healthy Poké Bowls! I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the invite @kaukaupokebowl !😊
